Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026
Batch Keeper (“Batch Keeper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools for independent grocery delivery shoppers to organize customer delivery records, calculate batch profitability, track mileage and earnings, receive customer arrival alerts, and view nearby shopper activity.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Batch Keeper accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares when you use the Batch Keeper mobile application and related services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create and manage an account, we may collect:
-
Your name
-
Email address
-
User account identifier
-
Profile information you choose to provide
-
Authentication and session information
Authentication is provided through Clerk.
Customer and Delivery Records
Batch Keeper allows you to create records relating to your delivery experiences. Information you choose to enter may include:
-
Customer name or label
-
Delivery address
-
Tip history
-
Delivery history
-
Ratings and delivery difficulty
-
Notes and safety indicators
-
Other content you voluntarily enter
You are responsible for entering this information lawfully and using it only for legitimate delivery-related purposes.
Mileage and Earnings Information
During a work session that you manually start, Batch Keeper may process:
-
Distance traveled
-
Session duration
-
Mileage totals
-
Earnings entered by you
-
Vehicle fuel efficiency
-
Gas prices and estimated fuel costs
-
Calculated earnings and profitability
Raw GPS coordinates used for mileage calculations are processed temporarily on your device. Batch Keeper retains the calculated mileage and session results rather than a permanent route history.
Location Information
With your permission, Batch Keeper may access precise or approximate location for the following features:
-
Mileage tracking during a work session you manually start
-
Customer arrival alerts using operating-system geofencing
-
Nearby shopper activity when you choose to share your presence
-
Local weather information
-
Converting a location or address into geographic coordinates
Mileage tracking may continue while the app is in the background or the screen is locked, but only during an active work session. Tracking stops when you end the session.
Customer arrival alerts may operate in the background through Android or iOS geofencing when you enable that feature. You may disable arrival alerts at any time.
If you enable nearby shopper activity, your most recent location may be sent to our server to calculate the number of participating shoppers nearby. Other users receive only an aggregated count and do not receive your identity or coordinates.
Purchase and Subscription Information
Google Play processes subscription payments. Batch Keeper does not receive or store your complete payment card information.
We may receive and process:
-
Subscription status
-
Product purchased
-

Account and customer records stored on our servers are generally retained while your account remains active.
Some information, such as mileage sessions and temporary location-processing data, may be stored locally on your device.
Location used for mileage calculation is processed as needed to calculate distance and is not retained by Batch Keeper as a permanent route history.

Deleting your account removes the account and associated Batch Keeper server data, including stored customer and presence records, subject to any information we are legally required to retain.
Local app data associated with the account is also cleared as part of the in-app deletion process.
Deleting your Batch Keeper account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately through Google Play to prevent future charges.
